Cooked up $835 in donations as they performed the heartwarming and hilarious play, Cookin' With Gus at the Geneva Stage, downtown Lake Geneva.
We received $500 from their Bunco Bonanza FUNdraiser.
Through their diaper drive, they delivered the sizes we had run out of at the perfect time.
As you may know, the Sharon Food Pantry closed its doors in the summer of 2023. They recently stopped in with a check for $188.49, the remaining balance in their bank account. We promise, their money will continue to be used to serve our neighbors in need.
Immanuel UCC's group Lydia's Helpers, and WCFDB volunteer Beth Rendall donate baby blankets for our guests.
Dozens of brand new children's winter jackets were donated for our guests through their Operation Warm Program.
Their "Open Your Hearts Foundation" raised $3,837 for WCFDB at the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off at Badger Bob's.
Through this teambuilding activity at Grand Geneva, we received 564 pounds of food to help our neighbors in need.
Conducting a campaign called Belfry Blessings during their 2023 Christmas Season, they raised over $16,000 to support five Walworth County food pantries.
While exploring opportunities to have a food & diaper drive somewhere in Walworth County, they met with a positive and generous response from Clear Water Salon and Day Spa, and Green Grocer in Williams Bay. Geneva Lake West Democratic Party collected boxes and boxes of food, diapers, and period supplies!
A week of Service and Connection raised $7,200! Both businesses collected donations for a whole week. We celebrated with the happiest of happy hours at the Green Grocer!
Giving makes us happy. Receiving makes our guests happy. And donors like Conagra Brands, with their recent donation of 40 hams (and bags!), make all of this happiness possible.
Donations come in all shapes and sizes. Larry and Dakota came to our rescue when we needed to receive two semi loads of food for the week and our truck was buried in snow and ice.
Music and a meat raffle at The Southern Stop restaurant raised $500!
164 pounds of baby diapers, period supplies, and much needed items for our SAM bags were donated by Lowell Custom Homes. SAM stands for Senior Assistance Mission. Almost 200 senior bags are put together monthly by one of our volunteers, Mary Ellen Phelan. The bags include things like toothpaste, kleenex, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and a little something to brighten their day like Hershey's kisses!
We're honored to be one of the recipients of the Spahn & Rose (Dunn Lumber - Lake Geneva) Charitable Foundation 2023 giving. In total, across 20 communities, they awarded $199,620 to 44 nonprofit groups.
The Elkhorn Sunshine Committee and Gateway's Elkhorn campus collected and donated 180 pounds of food and diapers!
244 reasons to be grateful! That's the total number of pounds of food donated by St. Andrews Parish School in Delavan.
We received 20 of these envelopes to distribute over the holidays. On the back was a sticker stating, "Expect a Miracle". Tucked inside each one was a neatly folded $100 bill. What a difference these surprises made for some of our neighbors in critical need.

15 pallets of food arrived at the dock of the pantry. BUT unfortunately, they were loaded the wrong way. Option 1, refuse delivery. Option 2, quickly find someone who had a dock and a forklift who could help. Our neighbor, Yunker Industries came to the rescue. They didn't hesitate to take time out of their day making it possible to provide 15 pallets of food to neighbors in need.
The Nestlé team was at it again, distributing a hot pasta meal for our guests visiting our Toy Shoppe in December. The delicious meal was donated by Stowell's Catering.
We love creative FUNdraisers! Hogs & Kisses donated 100% of appetizer sales in the month of November to celebrate Thanks & Giving!
Bonnie helps keep our guests warm in the Wisconsin winter.

Each week we are the recipient of hundreds of pounds of produce, frozen sandwiches, meat, and prepared foods from Kwik Trip in Lake Geneva. Neighbors helping neighbors!

In Walworth County, thousands of people in need will receive an extra bag of food thanks to the incredible teamwork that took place at SIX Kunes locations. We received 20 pallets of boxes with 4 individual bags of groceries each. AND We were able to share these boxes with other pantries throughout Walworth County.
Thankful beyond. Lake Geneva Jaycees, once again, made Thanksgiving so much brighter for 50+ Walworth County families!
The holidays are an especially important time of year to keep our neighbors shelves stocked. Over 2,000 items were collected and delivered by Badger DECA.
7 is a lucky number indeed. With our resources, for every $1 received, we can purchase $7 in food to help our community fighting food insecurity (40% are children). Thanks to the generous donation from the Advia Credit Union team, $5,000 = $35,000. AMAZING!
20 bikes and 20 huge boxes of toys will go a long way in bringing smiles to our Guests this holiday season thanks to Tri County Riders 29th Annual Toy Run for Love. The toys and bikes were shared with us and delivered by our friends at Love, Inc.

This 96 year old organization recently collected and delivered 110 pounds of food to us!
Nonstop generosity for their community from Thrivent-Shoreline Group and Scott Herrmann. $5,000 generated from the Burlington Turkey Trot will help us make Thanksgiving special for 500+ families this year!

Cadence, an event planning company, came through with 6 pallets (2,025 pounds) food!
Employees of the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa donated over 2000 pounds of food & necessities, plus $270.
The Elkhorn Lions Club July 23 pancake breakfast raised much needed funds for WCFDB.
Coming through for WCFDB once again, the Nicholas D. Sergi Foundation gifted $5,000 toward our school supply drive.
The Geneva Lakes Womens Association donated $2000 for our School Supply Drive.
BEST Bargain, being the BEST, and bringing us a $1100 donation
Advia Credit Union presented us with a $5,000 grant. When multiplied by $7 (for every $1 donated), this grant will help provide $35,000 in food to help us fight to end hunger in Walworth County.
Another generous donation was made by the community-minded Williams Bay Lions Club.
Taylor Smith of the WCFDB Board, accepting a check at the Gage Marine gala event on May 18. All of us at the Food Bank wish to thank the Gage family and Gage Marine for their wonderful generosity. The National Junior Honor Society of the Fontana School District held "Penny Wars", raising money to purchase 308 pounds of food, 463 diapers, 3,823 baby wipes, 661 feminine hygiene products and multiple general hygiene items.
Lake Geneva Scouts BSA Troops 235, 7239, 239, and Cub Scout Pack 239 brought in 4,069 pounds of food, 2,879 diapers, 9,316 baby wipes and $2,373.39 in cash donations. Their hard work along with the generosity of the Lake Geneva Community will go a LONG way in meeting the needs of those in Walworth County. Also, a big thank you to ADIVA Credit Union employees for helping to unload and sort all the food items donated.

Wisconsin Balloon Decor, Inspiration Ministries, Kunes RV, and RV PandA filled an RV with 1,000 pounds of food to help our neighbors!
The Geneva Lakes Womens Association came through again with a generous donation for spring groceries.
