WCFDB Volunteers are the foundation of our success.

There a are variety of volunteer roles, such as:

  • Receiving and Stocking
  • Parking Lot Greeter
  • Back Room Distribution
  • Guest Registration
  • Fresh Market Host / Hostess
  • Fulfillment
  • Special Events
  • Food Pick Up / Driver
  • Corporate Team Building



We are currently experiencing more volunteers than shifts available.  As this changes, especially as we get into the busier summer months, we will post a notification here, and send out an email invitation to those who have applied so that they may come in and shadow our team.  Thank you!

Hear From a Team Member

As a long time volunteer I get to see the expressions of gratitude, and the relief on the faces of people who are experiencing a difficult time right now and who are worried about making a difficult choice between food or buying medicine, or whether to pay a utility bill knowing that their children might be hungry.  I get enormous satisfaction not only from brightening the lives of our guests each week, but from knowing that my volunteering is critical to the important work being done by this wonderful organization.  And I've met so many people and made so many friends here.  It's a great environment and I look forward to the days I get to come in and help!
